Pure lard rendered from pastured Berkshire pigs is high in monounsaturated fats and contains no trans fats. It is better for you than processed vegetable oils. This is the highest grade of lard and is best suited for baking tender flaky pie crusts and crispy cookies. Packaged in approximately 1 1/2 pound (3 cup) containers.
